Face Masks
This page is still under construction but i wanted to share some of the patterns and learnings that i acquired while trying to make face masks for myself and for friends. All the information below is public to share so pass it on.

these masks are NOT to be considered as Protective Equipment and can ONLY provide a minimum protection against larger droplets.

Detailed Instructions:
1- cut and fuse fabric
2 front and 2 linings + 2 fusing3- top stitch front fabric
4- Cut nose piece
recommended 3" for L size and around 2 1/2" for M size8- zig zag stitch the nose piece
15- serge edge of lining (for better finishing)
17- stitch your lining darts
19- attach 2 lining pieces. LEAVE OPENING!
20- make sure to NOT stitch all along but leave an opening to insert filters
21- place lining onto upper - right side to right side
22- Pin firmly before sewing
23- Stitch along the top line and bottom line
DON'T stitch the sides!25- Now turn the mask inside out.
26- press gently to prepare your top stitch
27- Top stitch around the whole perimeter of the mask
28- Serge the 2 sides or Zig-zag them to hold fabric in place and avoid fraying
29- Your mask is now assembled..!
30- press the seam (1/8")
31- press the fold (about 1/2")
33- Zig Zag to hold in place
35- Cut your 2 elastic pieces
36- Use a safety pin to pass it through the fold
37- Done! now you just need to stitch the elastic to itself!
